About
A book that actually looks like your pet.
I started Illustrated You because I could not find a book that actually looked like my dog. So every book here is painted from your own photo, and a person on our team looks at the finished pages against that photo before anything goes to the printer.

How a book gets made
You send one photo. The cover is painted from it with AI, in about a minute, and you see it before you pay. After you order, every page is painted the same way, and a person compares the finished book with your photo before it goes to the printer. It is printed and bound to order as an 8.5-inch square hardcover and posted to you.
How we check likeness
Before anything prints, a person opens your photo next to every page and checks the things that make your pet theirs: the shape of the face, the set of the ears, each marking, the collar, the way they hold themselves. A page that drifts is painted again, not shipped. And if the book that arrives still is not them, we repaint it or refund you.
Your photo
It is used to make and check your book, and then we keep it — the photo, what you typed, and every file painted from them — so we can reprint a book that arrives damaged and make your next one without asking for the same photo twice. Ask us to delete it whenever you like: email support@illustratedyou.com, or ask us to close your account, and a person here erases it — the photo, what you typed, the files, and the record of your visits.
It is never used to train AI models, never put in a public gallery, and never used in an advertisement without asking you first. Inside the shop it is seen by the person who checks your book against it, and by the AI, printing and email services we use to make and send the book. A book bought through Amazon is different: the details Amazon passes us are deleted within 30 days of delivery.
