The story
A very big friend. A very small game. Room for another turn.
Your pet has laid out a favorite game through a make-believe fern meadow: go under a root, around a plant, and over a little bump. The best bit is getting to lead. Then a friendly dinosaur asks to join in, and its enormous body makes the simple route impossible. Going around every obstacle hardly feels like playing together, so your pet gives away the leading turn. But a dinosaur’s slowest steps still leave a smaller friend behind. Resting together, the two notice that they can answer the same movement in very different ways. Their next game happens on open grass: circles can be different sizes, an upward stretch need not become a leap, and a small nod is worth watching closely. The original course stays intact for another day. What changes is the pleasure of the game, from getting every move copied to seeing what this particular friend will do next.
Who it’s for: For a dinosaur-loving child aged 2–6, given for a birthday or an ordinary reading afternoon. The family pet stays recognizably itself throughout a clearly make-believe encounter.

Does my pet turn into a dinosaur?
No. Your pet keeps its own body, age, coloring and markings. The apricot dinosaur is one fictional friend with the same design throughout the book; it is not another animal from your photographs.
Is this a dinosaur fact book?
No. It is a playful invented meadow, with one gentle long-necked dinosaur and a game that changes when two differently sized friends try it. There are no prehistoric facts, dinosaur battles or frightening chases.
Does the story require my animal to jump or squeeze into something?
The illustrations adapt the movements to the animal: a small hop can become a lifted head or an easy stretch, and the root passage fits the hero’s natural size. The story suits pets that can spend time freely on dry ground, including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and donkeys; a fully aquatic pet or animal unable to leave its enclosure cannot play this outdoor game.

What makes a good photo?
One pet, facing the camera, in good light. Daylight near a window is best. The face, colors and markings should be sharp. Skip heavy shadows, busy backgrounds and photos with two pets. A phone photo is fine.
Is the art made with AI?
Yes. We make the pictures with AI from the photo you send. They are not painted by hand. A real person on our team checks every book before it prints.
What happens to my photo?
We keep it, with what you typed and the art we made. That way we can reprint your book if something goes wrong, and make your next book without a new photo. To have it deleted, email support@illustratedyou.com, or ask us to close your account. No public gallery. No ads without asking you first. We don’t train AI on your photos, and we set up the AI services we use so they don’t train their general AI models on them either.
