The story
Turn the current. Free the reef.
Below a cliff house, a ray waits at a glowing tide arch. Her reef has been sealed, and she needs your pet’s help. The arch grants a clear breathing veil and a trail that can turn the current inside one completed swimming circle. Only one circle can hold at a time. Deep in the reef, the Regent guards the route to the gates. Your pet finds a way to contain him, but the next surge puts the ray in danger. Keeping the ruler trapped would mean leaving a friend behind. To free the reef, the two friends will need each other — and one well-timed change of tide. The little eels are still waiting behind the gates.

How can my dog or cat breathe underwater?
A glowing tide arch gives the hero a magical breathing veil and supports their swim. Any dog or cat can star, illustrated just as they are, including pets with missing limbs. The magic lasts until the return to dry land.
How intense is the underwater action?
The hero faces a sealed reef, powerful currents and a friend caught in an undertow. There is suspense and a real choice to make. Nobody gets hurt. The reef is safe and the ruler contained before the return home.

One pet, facing the camera, in good light. Daylight near a window is best. The face, colors and markings should be sharp. Skip heavy shadows, busy backgrounds and photos with two pets. A phone photo is fine.
Is the art made with AI?
Yes. We make the pictures with AI from the photo you send. They are not painted by hand. A real person on our team checks every book before it prints.
What happens to my photo?
We keep it, with what you typed and the art we made. That way we can reprint your book if something goes wrong, and make your next book without a new photo. To have it deleted, email support@illustratedyou.com, or ask us to close your account. No public gallery. No ads without asking you first. We don’t train AI on your photos, and we set up the AI services we use so they don’t train their general AI models on them either.
