The story

Hold the fold. Trust the friends.

Tapping inside a wall leads your pet through a square door into a world of wrong-way stairs and locked rooms. The Surveyor has a place for everyone, whether they fit there or not. A touch against stone reveals a surprising escape: one connected surface can fold like card. Break that touch, and the way disappears. Your pet could head for home, but a round beetle and a creature made of folded points are still trapped nearby. Freeing them draws the Surveyor’s attention and closes the easy route back. Your pet can hold the escape route open. Getting onto it will take help from the very friends the hero stayed to save.

Who it’s for: For puzzle-escape fans ages 6–9 who love impossible rooms, strange allies and a hero who must trust someone else. A birthday or everyday comic starring their dog or cat.

Is this more of a puzzle or a fight?

It is a fast escape comic built around a folding power, shifting routes and two unlikely allies. The hero makes choices under pressure and faces the Surveyor directly, but solving the space matters more than hitting an opponent.

Is anyone left trapped at the end?

No. The rooms open, both friends are safe and your pet gets home. The last rescue is tense, but nobody is hurt or left behind.

Can a dog be the hero as easily as a cat?

Yes, any dog or cat can star, illustrated just as they are, including pets with missing limbs. In this fortress, a clever idea and two good friends matter more than size.

One pet, facing the camera, in good light. Daylight near a window is best. The face, colors and markings should be sharp. Skip heavy shadows, busy backgrounds and photos with two pets. A phone photo is fine.

Is the art made with AI?

Yes. We make the pictures with AI from the photo you send. They are not painted by hand. A real person on our team checks every book before it prints.

What happens to my photo?

We keep it, with what you typed and the art we made. That way we can reprint your book if something goes wrong, and make your next book without a new photo. To have it deleted, email support@illustratedyou.com, or ask us to close your account. No public gallery. No ads without asking you first. We don’t train AI on your photos, and we set up the AI services we use so they don’t train their general AI models on them either.
