The details that make them yours

Their face. Their name. Your favorite character.

The full ruff and sweeping tail make a lovely silhouette. You know the face inside it: the eyes, the forehead markings, the expression that announces dinner time. Your own Siberian's photograph gives the illustration those personal details to start from, whatever their coat looks like today.

The story behind this cover

The Great Adventure of Hazel

The warm outdoor adventure gives your Siberian a storybook world of meadow, stream and woodland. A lost duckling needs help, and the journey ends with everyone safely home. Choose it for a young reader who enjoys following a familiar face through a gentle quest.

Your pet crosses stream and meadow to help a lost duckling find its family — a big, kind-hearted daytime quest where the bravest thing anyone does is keep going.

A gift with their name all over it

A Siberian cat gift with their own star at its center.

Someone who loves a Siberian does not need a generic picture of a fluffy cat. A book made from their own pet's photo can feel much closer to home. It gives a much-loved companion the leading role in a keepsake that can live on the family bookshelf.

For a birthday, add a dedication about what the cat means to the recipient. For a child, let the familiar hero bring an extra spark to reading together. The adventure is fictional, but the connection to the pet looking back from the cover is the reason to choose the gift.

How to choose your Siberian’s photo

Choose the coat you know now

A cat's appearance can vary between older and newer photos, especially with a full coat. Use the image that best represents the version you want on the cover. Keep the ruff visible rather than hidden under a blanket or collar.

Leave room for the tail

If you choose a full-body photo, include the plume all the way to its tip. A simple background helps separate the fluffy outline. For a closer portrait, prioritize a sharp face and both ears over a dramatic pose.

Light the eyes through the fur

Heavy cheek and neck fur can cast shadows across the face. Soft daylight from the front or side is useful. Pick an angle where the eyes and nose remain distinct, with your cat alone and the coat colors true to life.

Your Siberian book questions

Can my Siberian's point coloring or different markings be used?

Your own photograph provides the visual reference, so you do not need to match Hazel's brown-tabby sample. Choose an image that clearly shows the face and coat pattern, then check how your pet appears in the free cover preview.

Should I use a winter-coat or summer-coat photo?

Choose the appearance you want reflected in the illustration. A clear current photo is usually a good starting point, but a fuller-coat image may be the one the family recognizes most fondly. Keep the face and ears clearly visible either way.

What do I need to make a free cover preview?
