Their photo. Their cover.

A customer sent us this photo of Oliver. We made this cover from it.

Oliver, a Boston terrier with a white blaze down his face and a blue collar, lying on a rug and looking up at the camera — the photo his owner sent.
Photo
Goodnight, Oliver: the same Boston terrier painted lying on his side in a plush bed beneath the title lettering, ears up, dark eyes to the reader and a happy open smile — the same white blaze, the same blue collar — one paw over a teddy with a bow in a lamplit bedroom.
Cover

“OMG, it’s so cute! It captures Oliver’s little snaggle tooth perfectly — it looks exactly like him.”

Amanda G., Escalon, CA, Oliver’s owner

A real person checks every picture against your photo before it prints. If a picture looks off, we paint it again.

The story

A bright dash into the rings. A brave way home.

A courier is falling through a planet’s rings when a star flare gives your pet an impossible new power: the ability to dash as light. It is fast and bright, but it cannot turn in flight. The first attempt to reach the ship goes wrong, leaving the hero alone on a shelf of ring ice with shadow closing in. Across the gap, a gecko navigator named Neri still needs help. Home lies in the opposite direction. Your pet will have to judge a moving opening, trust someone else’s timing and decide where to spend the last charge. Neri knows the way through the ice. First, your pet has to reach him.

Who it’s for: For space-rescue fans ages 6–9 who want daring flights, a power with limits and a hero worth rooting for. A birthday or everyday comic starring the family dog or cat.

Questions

What kind of superhero action is in this book?

A dash through moving ring ice, a missed landing and a hands-on spacecraft rescue. The hero can travel briefly as light, but the power has limits. Nobody is injured, and the stranded ship reaches safety.

Can my dog or cat be the space hero?

Yes, any dog or cat can star, illustrated just as they are, including pets with missing limbs. A magical shield keeps the hero safe in space.

Is it suitable for bedtime?

For kids ages 6–9 who enjoy action before a quiet finish. The middle has real suspense, with a pet stranded far from home. The last scenes return to a warm sleeping mat after everyone is safe; the story does not end on a cliffhanger.

What do I get for $69.99?

A 24-page 8.5-inch square hardcover, printed just for you. Your pet is the star of every picture, and their name is on the cover. A page at the front has a note in your own words. A real person checks the book before it prints. Shipping in the U.S. is free. If it arrives damaged, we send a new one for free.

Can I see more than the cover first?

Yes, one page. After the cover, you can see one page from inside the book with your pet in it, free. We paint the rest after you order. A real person checks every picture against your photo before it prints.

What makes a good photo?

One pet, facing the camera, in good light. Daylight near a window is best. The face, colors and markings should be sharp. Skip heavy shadows, busy backgrounds and photos with two pets. A phone photo is fine.

Is the art made with AI?

Yes. We make the pictures with AI from the photo you send. They are not painted by hand. A real person on our team checks every book before it prints.

What happens to my photo?

We keep it, with what you typed and the art we made. That way we can reprint your book if something goes wrong, and make your next book without a new photo. To have it deleted, email support@illustratedyou.com, or ask us to close your account. No public gallery. No ads without asking you first. We don’t train AI on your photos, and we set up the AI services we use so they don’t train their general AI models on them either.
