The story
A little curiosity. A very warm welcome.
Your pet has arranged a pumpkin, a basket of leaves and a warm place by the porch for Halloween. When a rabbit friend arrives, a long shape on the wall makes her pause. The two look closer: the moving edge belongs to a leaf, the bent tip belongs to a watering can, and a round arch has a very ordinary source. Discovering how the familiar garden changes in evening light gives your pet an idea for a guessing game. The first attempt is an impressive tangle of shadows that the friend cannot begin to solve. To make it welcoming, the pet takes apart the favorite arrangement and listens to a simple request: show the object first, then try its shadow. Soon the rabbit is making a shape of her own, with time to enjoy her turn. The ending returns to the cozy porch, where every shape has a familiar source and both friends belong.

How spooky is the story?
There is a brief puzzle about unfamiliar-looking shadows, with their ordinary sources always close by. The story contains no monsters, jump scares, threatening figures or danger.
Are there costumes, candy or candles?
No. The autumn setting uses an uncarved pumpkin, loose leaves and a fixed porch light. Pets keep their own recognizable faces and bodies throughout.
Is it a lesson about being brave?
The friends take their time and ask what is making each shape. The pet also changes a game that is too complicated, so the quieter guest can enjoy it and take a turn creating.
Does it only work for a dog or cat?
The terrace is broad and level, and the hero stays at its natural size beside low objects. Rabbits, ground-moving birds and larger animals can fit; a pet that lives only in water cannot.

What makes a good photo?
One pet, facing the camera, in good light. Daylight near a window is best. The face, colors and markings should be sharp. Skip heavy shadows, busy backgrounds and photos with two pets. A phone photo is fine.
Is the art made with AI?
Yes. We make the pictures with AI from the photo you send. They are not painted by hand. A real person on our team checks every book before it prints.
What happens to my photo?
We keep it, with what you typed and the art we made. That way we can reprint your book if something goes wrong, and make your next book without a new photo. To have it deleted, email support@illustratedyou.com, or ask us to close your account. No public gallery. No ads without asking you first. We don’t train AI on your photos, and we set up the AI services we use so they don’t train their general AI models on them either.
